Today the
artists made the last preparations for tomorrow’s start of ARTE DIEM 2008. They
created an outline how all the workshops can be included in the theatre play of
‘The Little Prince’. The artists found good linkages: not just how to link the
dancing, music, media and painting & sculpturing workshops with the theatre
workshop, but also they created great ideas how to integrate all the different
children in the preparation and the play.
Furthermore
the dancing group had their first rehearsal. Laana (artist of the dance
workshop) and the volunteers practised some belly dance and more Arabic dance.
More and
more volunteers are arriving to join tomorrow’s kick-off of ARTE DIEM 2008.
We are looking forward to a creative and exciting week with local and international volunteers and all the children that will join ARTE DIEM 2008.

The proof of the little prince’s existence is that he was delightful, that he laughed, and that he wanted a sheep. When someone wants a sheep, that proves he exists
He tries a few sheep drawings, which the Prince rejects. Finally he draws a box, which he explains has the sheep inside.
